My name is Anna Deegan I am a full time web designer, freelance illustrator and
graphic designer.

I live and breath creativity and feel at my happiest when I am working on something I love.
With a passion for animals and music, I tend to use these as central themes and influences
in my artwork.

In 2009 I set up a project blog called Lady & Redbird. Lady & Redbird documents all of
my ideas, inspirations, designs and illustration work. Setting this blog up has been a great
way to motivate myself and produce art regularly. So far it has been a great success and
has introduced me into other creative groups and expanded my portfolio of work.

In 2010 I became a member of an Illustration group called ‘The Blind Elephant Collective’.
The group is a mixture of artists, designers and creative folk from various backgrounds.
The aim of the group is to inspire, encourage and motivate each other to improve and
enjoy what we do by sharing our ideas.

In 2011 myself and my work colleague of four years Paula McGloin set up Illustration
collaboration project called ‘Poppy and Red’. Poppy and Red is fun and unique venture
that will showcase a variety of individual and team collaborated projects.

I have now set up this design & Illustration website to focus on my portfolio of web,
graphic and illustration projects. On this website I will showcase published works,
collaborated projects and web sites that I have designed.
