Hello!
My name is Anna Deegan I am a full time web designer working and living in Dublin, Ireland.
After my full time hours I work on collaboration, freelance and commissioned Illustration and design Projects.

In 2009 I set up a project blog called Lady & Redbird. Lady & Redbird documents all of my ideas, inspirations, designs and illustration work. Setting this blog up has inspired me to produce art regularly. So far it has been a great success and has introduced me into other creative groups and expanded my portfolio of work.

In 2010 I became a member of an Illustration group called ‘The Blind Elephant Collective’. This group is a mixture of artists, designers and creative folk from various backgrounds. The aim of the group is to encourage and inspire each other and also share our ideas.

In 2011 myself and my work colleague of four years Paula McGloin set up an Illustration collaboration project called ‘Poppy and Red’. Poppy and Red is a fun and unique venture that showcases a variety of individual and team collaborated projects.

I live and breath creativity and feel at my happiest when I am working on something I love. With a passion for animals and music, I tend to use these as central themes and influences in my artwork. I like to create retro and folk art using hand drawn and vector based illustrations, patterns and designs.
